SENDT (Special Educational Needs and DisabilitiesTargets) is a searchable bank of over 500 ready-to-use targets for pupils with special educational needs. It's designed to save teachers time when writing IEPs and other individual planning documents. Every target is written in plain English, free from jargon, and ready to copy straight into your paperwork.

SENDT covers all four areas of need from the SEND Code of Practice across 300+ categories. These are Communication and Interaction, Cognition and Learning, Social Emotional and Mental Health, and Sensory and/or Physical needs. Targets are organised by need rather than diagnosis, meaning you can find appropriate targets for pupils who are awaiting assessment or who display traits without a formal diagnosis.

Simply search or browse for the target you need, click to copy it, and paste it directly into your planning document or platform. All targets, success criteria and provision are editable. SENDT works alongside the tools your school already uses — including TES Provision Map, Insight, Arbor, and other provision mapping and planning software — as well as Word documents and any other format your school prefers. A Small School licence (£145/year) gives every member of staff at your school unlimited access to the full target bank for up to 6 teaching staff. Standard School (£295/year) covers up to 15 staff, and Large School (£495/year) gives unlimited access for all staff — ideal for ensuring consistency across all planning documents. School licences are billed annually and can be managed through your account dashboard. Unlike AI tools, SENDT works seamlessly alongside the platforms your school already uses — including TES Provision Map, Insight, Arbor, and other provision mapping software. Simply copy and paste targets directly into whichever system you use, with no reformatting required.  AI tools can generate targets, but they require you to know the right prompts, check the output for accuracy, edit for appropriate language, and ensure the targets are genuinely suitable for your pupil. That process takes longer than it sounds, especially if you're not a SEND specialist. SENDT targets are pre-written, pre-checked, and ready to use in seconds — no prompting, no editing, no second-guessing. Think of it as the difference between cooking from scratch every night and having a well-stocked fridge of ingredients that are already prepared. Both work, but one is considerably faster when you're busy.

SENDT does not store any pupil data. You never enter a pupil's name, details, or information into SENDT — you simply browse and copy targets. The only personal data we hold is your account information (name and email address) for subscription management, which is stored securely and never shared with third parties. Targets include a placeholder for the pupil's name or initials which you fill in yourself within your own school systems.
